Characteristics
1. Deeply weathered, but lack distinct horizon.
2. Highly leached
3. Less humus content because moist conditions enhance bacterial activity
4. Permanent residual of Fe, Mn, A1 oxides in top layer
5. Soil reaction is neutral.
6. Low Fertility
7. Productive if used scientifically.
