With reference to your advertisement in today's "Newspaper Name," for the post of a 'Filing and Dispatching Clerk', I wish to offer my services with the following qualifications and experience.
Having passed my 12th Class Examination from ……………… University in …………(year), I joined ………………(company name).(leading utensil dealers in ………………(city name)) as a clerk. On the very first day of my taking up this job, I was asked by the management to work on Filing and Dispatching as the clerk concerned had suddenly resigned from their employ. I picked up the job with the assistance of files and registers maintained by them as also by going through the outward register.
