According to Neo-Malthusians, population problem a it presently exists in underdeveloped counties is an inevitable result of the reproductive behaviors of man.

Karl Marx (1818-1893) was a German philosopher and founder of modern communism. His theory of population was christened as theory of surplus population. Karl Marx completely rejected Malthusian theory.

The science which deals with the study of population is called demography. The theory of demographic transition throws light on changes in the birth rate and death rate and consequently the growth of population.

Population education is not sex education or family planning education not birth control but helps us to investigate and explorer the interaction between population and education.

Population is not the study of population but it is meant for the population awareness and population consciousness of the bad effects of population growth and its remedial measures.
