Following are the defects of English Educational System:

When Macaulay landed in India on June 10, 1834 as the first Law Member of the Governor-General’s Executive Council, a heated controversy was going on between two parties-the Orientalists and the Occidentalizes.

Lord Macaulay’s Minutes ended the controversy going about the education system in India, for about 20 years. An Educati policy was laid down. Following are the statements enabling student to evaluate Macaulay’s contribution to Indian Education.
