Since six years back I was a student of the Modern Public School, Dallas. I have passed all these days not with equal feelings.

I belong to the district of Cuttack which now has been divided into four small district.

Once, I heard a thrilling story from a story-teller of our town. When I heard him describe, my hairs stood at their ends. This story is as follows.

A visit to a friend’s house is memorable. Once I was invited by my friend shree charan and so I went with him to his house in the village Kothar.

It was a mid-summer night. I was very much hurt by the hotness of summer. Sleep came very late too and I rose very late in the morning.

Now-a-days, film shows have become very popular with all classes of people. But all pictures are really not good. Most of them are harmful to the young mind.

I am a student of Class X in the Modern Public School, Cuttack. Every year a drama is staged in our school on 26th january in honour of the Republic Day.

I belong to the village Govindpur in the district of Cuttack Some of the villagers are artisans. They live on different kinds of cottage industry.

I live in a large family. There are eight members in it. They are my father, my mother, my grand-father, my grand-mother, myself, my brother and my two sisters.

A bus-stand is a specified place where the service buses spend their rest-hours and wherefrom they start duty. A bus-stand presents a scene, peculiar to itself.

Cattle are the principal wealth of farmers. The dung of cattle is the best fertilizer. Bullocks plough land and draw carts. They work the wheels of oil-presses.

Once, an agricultural exhibition was held in front of the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. I went to see this exhibition. I booked  ticket and went into the exhibition compound.

I read in Class X in Modern Public School, Bhubaneswar. There is a debating club in our school. Our school debating is held on the last day of every month.

Schools are to build the students as the future citizens of the country. Reading and writing are not enough for them. They should know how to speak before a large audience.

Every child is born with some quality. There are some students who can write good essays, beautiful poems and short stories.
