(i) Industrial metallic minerals: Iron Ore
(ii) Ferroalloy metallic minerals: Manganese, Chromium, Cobalt, Molybdenum, Vanadium, Nickel.
(iii) Precious metallic minerals: Gold (Au), Silver (Ag) and Platinum (Pt).
(iv) Non-metallic minerals: Salt, and Tin, Potash, Asbestos, and Sulphur.
(v) Power Minerals (Mineral fuels): Coal, Petroleum and Natural Gas which are non metallic minerals derived from vegetable remains
(vi) Other: Uranium
