Original Jurisdictions of the Supreme court.
- The Supreme Court has original jurisdiction over some type of cases that come directly before it. These are cases in which
- The dispute is between Union Government and one or more States
- Between the Union Government and one or more States on the one side and one or mote States on the other side
- Between two States.
- Cases relating to Fundamental Rights and interpretation of the Constitution can originally be brought before the Supreme Court.
